Further education of children and adults is aimed at comprehensive satisfaction of the educational needs of a man in intellectual, spiritual, physical, and professional development. Today, Gorno-Altaisk State University offers more than 100 further education programs which are different in their duration, subject area, and students’ workload. Each program is designed for particular groups of learners: schoolchildren, university students, and professionals in various fields. Study modes are very flexible, with full-time, part-time, and distance learning courses available. A particular program takes from 16 to 950 academic hours.
